WESTPAC Fiji Movember Shaving campaign was held this morning at their Suva Branch.
With a bid to create awareness and educate more on people about prostate cancer affecting men in the country, the commercial bank organized fundraisers in all its branches Fiji wide for the worthy cause.
Westpac Fiji General Manager Brett Hooker said the Bank had been actively involved in social responsibility since the beginning.-
“It is really wonderful to see the staff get together and come for a worthy cause. This shows they are really enthusiastic and giving in all their best to raise funds and contribute to the cancer fight in the county,” Mr Hooker said.
He said the total funds collected would be revealed at a later date.
“The funds will be given to the Colonial War Memorial (CWM) Hospital Oncology Unit,” he said.
