Water tank eases burden for Primary School

STUDENTS of Namamanuca Primary School in Yanuya village in Malolo were handed a 5000litre water tank to ease of burden of intermittent supply at the school.

With a school roll of close to 200 students, Namamanuca Primary School was gifted with the storage tank from the Ministry of Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation.

During the handover, Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Mereseini Vuniwaqa said supporting a child’s interest was an important aspect of their development.

She said this included providing important basic necessities like safe drinking water and health care.

Mrs Vuniwaqa handed over the water tank alongside Indonesian counterpart Yohana Susana Yembise.
