Water situation: Burst main affects supply to greater Koronivia areas

A burst main along Koronivia has resulted in an interruption of water supply to parts of the area.

According to a statement issued by the Water Authority of Fiji (WAF), this will cause low water pressure to intermittent supply from 9pm tomorrow – February 7 to 7am on Saturday, February 8, 2020.

The areas expected to be affected include parts of  Kings Road, Lab Road to Rewa bridge end, Koronivia Research Station, Koronivia Road to Tawakelevu Road junction, and Davuilevu Theological College.

Customers residing in those areas are advised to store and use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period.

Water supply is expected to normalise by 7am on Saturday.

And for any urgent water carting requests, members of the public are to contact the authority’s National Call Centre on 5777 and 334 6777.
