Warriors on battle mode

SWIRE Shipping Fiji Warriors will be looking to maintain consistency as they battle the undefeated Junior Japan team at the World Rugby Pacific Challenge today at 5pm at the ANZ Stadium in Laucala Bay, Suva.

Both teams remain undefeated in the competition and will be in for a tough run this evening.

Warriors coach Senirusi Seruvakula had made some changes to his side bringing in Raikabula Momoedonu.

“We’ll use Mosese Voka in the locks for this match and bring in Momoedonu to the six for his size and physical presence,” said Seruvakula.

Running in the starting lineup is Tuidraki Samusamuvodre after showing impressive performance against Tonga and scoring two tries.

Another newcomer Galoa, Bua native, Veresa Tuqovu, who had been handpicked by Seruvakula from the under-20 national squad.

“Tuqovu had shown a lot of talent and confidence. We know Japan will play a fast game.”
