HINDU values are based on upholding everyone’s success irrespective of their race, says Vishva Hindu Parishad (Fiji) president Jay Dayal.

Speaking at the 4th Fiji National Hindu Conference at Studio 6 in Suva, he reminded participation to uphold Hindu values.

The theme of the event was ‘Strengthening Hindu communities, Strengthening Fiji’.

“Participants are encouraged to raise their concerns and share their views openly,” Mr Dayal said.

National Federation Party MP Biman Prasad, trade unionist Agni Deo Singh and University of the South Pacific economist and academic Dr Neelesh Gounder were part of the conference.

The conference ends today with a gala dinner.
