Tui Nawaka backs climate change resilience project

THE adaptation of a climate change resilience project in two informal settlements in Nadi has received the backing of Tui Nawaka Ratu Asaeli Driu Naevo.

Ratu Asaeli said the Fiji Resilient Informal Settlement project implemented by United Nations Habitat and the Ministry of Local Government would improve livelihoods for the informal settlers in Korociri and Nawajikuma.

Ratu Asaeli said there are more than 250 people in each resident and with this project, there would be some very positive changes.
