FIJI Boxing Super Welterweight champion Sebastian “The Sniper” Singh was able to land a fight with New Zealand’s number one ranked welterweight boxer Bowyn Morgan on Kiwi soil next month.

Singh will fly the Fiji flag in the under card to the main bout between Joseph Parker and Alexander Flores on December 15.

“As we know the sport of boxing is struggling here in Fiji and for me to get the opportunity in such a big show where Joseph Parker will be fighting is big.

“It is big not only for me but for Fiji as a nation because it will define to the world what Fiji Boxing is all about,” said Singh.

Singh’s main sponsors Inkk mobile showed their support by donating $3000 to the team to help them in their preparation.

Operations manager Amitesh Narayan said it was only once in a while such talents emerge out of the boxing arena which was why Inkk mobile jumped on board to support the sport.

“Inkk is providing ‘The Sniper’ with sponsorship support to help him prepare well for the fight.

“Sebastian is carrying hopes for Fiji and we are calling all boxing fans alike to get behind Team Sniper as he takes Fiji to the world stage of professional boxing,” said Narayan.
