Suva Zone 2: St Josephs wins junior and intermediate grades

SAINT Josephs Secondary School could not defend their title as overall winner in the girls division but still walked home with shields for two grades.

The girls from Waimanu Road won the junior and intermediate grades.

In the junior grade, SJSS was too good winning eight gold medals, five silver and four bronze while second placed Suva Grammar won one gold, three silver and two bronze medals.

Vashist Muni came third with one gold and one silver- both from Rebecca McGoon.

In the intermediate grade, it was a close battle with SJSS beating Suva Grammar with two gold. SJSS won seven gold, five silver and two bronze while SGS won five gold, four silver and four bronze medals.

The furthest travelling team, Beqa Yanuca came third with a silver and a bronze.
