GALLAGHER Chiefs assistant coach Tabai Matson knows it will not be easy when they meet traditional rivals the BNZ Crusaders tomorrow and despite an injury-laden season, they will look to meet them head on.
“It is a critical rivalry,” Matson said.
“And a very important match for us. Unfortunately for us injury has been the story of our campaign, and to be fair the guys that have been selected have done a really good job.”
Matson said it would be a huge challenge because it was a very important game for them.
He said All Blacks flanker and Chiefs captain Sam Cane would lead well.
“He is a talisman, a critical leader and one of our most experienced players and with that also very timely before we meet one of the top teams in the competition.”
