THE FMF Police Sharks are ready to take on the Namuaniwaqa Sea Eagles this Saturday in their grand final clash to determine who goes home a winner of the 2017 Reserve Grade of the Vodafone Cup competition.
FMF Police Sharks rugby league team manager Aminisitai Seru confirmed they were aware the Namuaniwaqa Sea Eagles was a team that had been in the competition for many years.
He said they would not be taken lightly in terms of experience they bring with them.
“We had moved on from last Saturday’s win,” he said.
“Namuaniwaqa will not be an easy opponent. We look up to them as we know they will come hard at us, but we are prepared.”
FMF Police Sharks will continue training this week, and the areas they will also concentrate on are their defence.
They will also be continuously motivated to remind themselves of their responsibilities on game day.
Seru said the Sharks had won the Reserve Grade finals five years ago, and they intended to repeat the same.
The team commended their sponsor, Flour Mills of Fiji.
