THE three matches scheduled in the Vodafone Senior League this weekend have been postponed.

Fiji Football Association competitions manager Amitesh Pal said this postponement would allow the respective teams to complete their local league competitions.

“From next week, the matches will be played on alternate weekends as decided in the National League Board meeting so that the district can also concentrate more on their local league competitions in between,” said Pal.

Meanwhile, Navua leads the standings after two rounds with six points followed by Tailevu Naitasiri with four points.

The winner of the Senior League gains automatic promotion to the Premier division next season.
