THE Suva Golden Oldies Rugby Club alongside the Tongan community took to a game of rugby to celebrate the Tonga National Day yesterday at Sacred Heart College grounds in Nasese, Suva.
The SGORC combined with the Tongan community in Suva for a friendly game against the Police Oldies rugby team who are preparing for their Sukuna Bowl competition.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate with members of the tongan community in Suva for their Constitution day,” said SGORC vice president Etika Qica.
Qica said it was a great way for the neighboring countries and communities to come together as well as bring the message to them regarding prostate cancer.
“As it is Mowvember, we again are spreading the message to our two communities especially men on the dangers of prostate cancer and how to change your lifestyle to avoid it,” said Qica.
“If you haven’t been tested, get it done, if you are waiting for a good time, there is no better time than now.”
