First of all I would like to acknowledge and commend the works of the Fiji Roads Authority on the main highways linking our cities.
The roads are smooth and is a pleasure to drive on. However, this only constitutes to a small percentage of the overall road networks. Can the FRA do the same upgrades to the smaller roads because a good amount of the general population live around these roads and some of them are really in a sorry state. I believe that it would be a good idea if road users don’t have to pay road levy or the Land Transport Authority could have a reduction on the costs of wheel tax. At the end of the day our vehicles are getting damaged by these bad roads and we are paying for it with our hard earned money.
