A BOOST for Ratu Kadavulevu School as Qaqa Jack’s of Fiji sponsored rugby attires for the coming Fiji secondary schools Deans Trophy competition and a bonus for their achievements in defending the Coca-Cola Games.

A bonus of $5000 was given to the school as part of the agreement with Qaqa Jack’s Fiji after RKS retained the Coca-Cola Games boys title.

School principal Pio Veivoli said the sponsorship would boost their preparation.

“It’s not easy to have sponsors for schools and we are grateful for Qaqa Jack’s coming in to support us with our rugby attires and also keeping their end of the bargain with a $5000 bonus for our athletes for winning the Coca-Cola Games boys division.”

RKS sports committee chairman Akapusi Tuifagalele said the sponsorship would boost their players. “It would be given to the athletes as a gratitude for their participation and part of it would help in the development of the athletes preparation as we gun for three-in-a-row title next year,” said Tuifagalele.

The school teams were presented with rugby uniforms for the individual grades, rugby balls and other sports equipment to help in the buildup for the Deans Trophy rugby competition set to kick off next week at various centres.
