Rewa House wins Druavesi golf title

REWA House defended the QVSOB Druavesi Shield for second consecutive year winning with a score of 118.

First runner-up was Verata House finished with a score of 121.69, Bau with 121.76 and Tovata House with 127.71.

Rewa House was captained by Suva lawyer Tomasi Tuitoga and ably supported by Niumaia Tabunakawai.

Tovata House was captained former Ports Authority of Fiji general manager Waqa Bauleka and Bau House was captained by Republic of the Fiji Military Forces Commander Viliame Naupoto while Verata House was captained by former diplomat Ratu Isoa Gavidi.

Eleven teams comprising over fifty five golfers participated in the 18 holes 26th QVSOB Druavesi Golf Tournament at the Fiji Golf Club course on Friday.

Taking the individual overall winner was Bau House team 2, teams comprising Viliame Naupoto, seasoned golfer Penisoni Gauna, Peni Taoi and Mosese Lako.

The QVSOB Annual Druavesi Golf Tournament continued to be a success this year.

Rewa House president Esala Mau dedicated the win to members of Rewa House and former students of Queen Victoria School locally and abroad.

“This win is for all members of Rewa House in Fiji and those living overseas.

I wish to express my thanks and appreciation to the Terikauwai crew comprising golfers and those behind the preparations,” he said.
