Raju appears in court for alleged $15k robbery in Namaka

AKSHAY Raju appeared at the Nadi Magistrates Court this afternoon charged with one count of aggravated robbery.
The 27-year-old was allegedly involved in the robbery incident in Namaka on February 23.
He is alleged to have robbed a woman in her 60s outside of the ANZ Namaka Branch where the woman was carrying more than $15,000 in cash.
Appearing before Magistrate Nirosha Kannangara, Raju was refused bail by the court for having previous criminal cases.
The case has been transferred to the High Court in Lautoka for mention on March 6.
