QUICK reflexes by a Yasawa fisherman saved him from losing his left hand during a shark ‘attack’ on Monday night.

And Ilivasi Niudamu is adamant he will return to the sea.

“It wasn’t the shark’s fault,” the 29-year-old from Bukama said.

Mr Niudamu said he was fishing with three others in waters off Yasawa-i-Rara when the incident happened.
