PLANS are in motion to increase the rate of home ownership in Fiji.

Attorney-General and Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said the government was working with international organisations such as the IFC and World Bank to come up with initiatives to help increase the number of people who own homes.

He shared the plans with staff members of the PRB during the announcement of their bonus and pay increment this morning.

Acting board chairman Umarji Musa said the PRB had 48 staff members – 20 unestablished, 28 established with three key executive members who will receive the 2016 bonus payout, while some would also receive an increment based on their performance after the job evaluation exercise.
