Planned water disruption for Sigatoka today

WATER supply to residents living in elevated areas in parts of Sigatoka will be disrupted from 10am today, March 15 to 6am on Saturday, March 16, 2019.
The areas affected Rakirakilevu high and surrounding areas, Tulalevu and surrounding areas, Malaqereqere high and surrounding areas, Cuvu, Naidovi, Uluisila, Nadroumai and surrounding areas, Lateef Road and surrounding areas, Olosara high and surrounding areas and Malevu and Korotogo areas.
According to the Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) the interruption in supply is due to maintenance work at the Sedimentation tanks at the Matovo Water Treatment Plant in Sigatoka by WAF crew members.
WAF is advising its customers residing in the areas above to store and use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period.

Water supply is expected to be restored by 6am, Saturday, March 16, 2019.
