PARENTS and guardians have been urged to follow proper protocols should they have complaints against teachers or school management.

Director primary education Hem Chand made the statement after a Nadi-based school reported that parents bypassed proper reporting channels and took their issues directly to the ministry.

The manager for Nadi Airport School, Sera Robinson, said despite encouraging parents to raise queries with the school, they opted to deal directly with the ministry.

“School heads play a very important part, if all parents come to us, you can imagine the number of issues we face daily,” Mr Chand said.
