FINANCE and management consultant Mesake Nawari has been appointed as the arbiter to conduct the inquiry into the grievances raised during the Social Democratic Liberal Party’s management board meeting this month.

In a statement yesterday, SODELPA acting president Anare Jale said Mr Nawari would prepare a report with recommendations to be submitted to the party’s management board by June 21.

According to the party, Mr Nawari was appointed after the party’s management board directed Mr Jale, party leader Sitiveni Rabuka and three members of the management board to decide the matters on behalf of the board.

Mr Jale had earlier confirmed in an interview with this newspaper, that grievances and concerns relating to the leaking of the party’s confidential information were raised during the party’s management board meeting on May 17.
