Nawaka 7s: Wet weather fails to dampen rugby-loving spirit

The wet weather has failed to dampen the spirits of rugby lovers as people turned up in large numbers to witness day two of the 36th Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s at Nadi’s Prince Charles Park today.

In the first main cup quarter final that would begin shortly, Lavidi will face-off against DXC Barbarians.

In the second quarter-final, Fiji 7s Development team will battle it out against Fire.

Kombat Uluinakau will play against Ram Sami Army Green in the third quarter-final while Tabadamu will face Cooldown Lau Bro in the last quarter-final match.

A new champion will be crowned this year after defending men’s division champions Wardens was bundled out in the elimination round, losing to Fiji Development 24-5.
