Letters to the Editor – Friday, 15th March, 2019.

A writer was frustrated for not being able to log into Facebook yesterday. Picture: FILE.

Facebook issue

Yesterday morning I logged on to Facebook and it was down.

My world nearly ended! Well I just went and did something else.

I wonder if some people were devastated that they couldn’t log on to FB.

I am always on FB but I also read books and have a backyard garden where I spend time planting and cleaning.

I also clean our house, cook and wash the clothes.

Oh I forgot to mention, I usually have a mix while I am cleaning the house.

I bet Facebook’s down time must have been egregious for some people.

Big word that — egregious. I found it while reading a book. But FB is now becoming more than an addiction, it’s becoming a way of life. Meals are eaten with people on FB.

Even grog sessions are the same, where the call for taki is texted to the person looming after the grog.

I find this egregious.
