THE Lautoka City Council has partnered with the Ministry of Health to begin a mosquito campaign across the Sugar City.

LCC CEO Jone Nakauvadra says the campaign would begin on March 18.

“We are working closely with the Ministry of Health on a mosquito campaign and it’s a free clean-up campaign that will go on for two to three weeks,” he said.

“We have already begun the collection process but the proper one will begin on the 18th.”

He explained residents should take advantage of the free campaign as it aims to reduce the amount of mosquito breeding places.
