Las Vegas 7s: Fiji to play England for fifth place finish

FIJI will now play England for fifth placing at the HSBC Las Vegas 7s currently being held at the Sam Boyd STadium in Las Vegas.

England defeated Australia 28-14 to book a date with Fiji at 11.35 am Fiji time.

Fiji barely scraped through against South Africa with a 14-12 victory in a nail biting encounter.

Fiji’s first try came from Josua Vakurinabili and then the little magician Jerry Tuwai in the seventh minute.

South Africa’s tries were from Ryan Oosthuizen and Johannes Pretorius in the 11th minute.

Both sides copped a yellow card each during the match.

Fiji’s Vilimoni Botitu added another to his tally while Selvyn Davids of South Africa was sent of for a dangerous tackle on Alasio Naduva.
