COACH Gareth Baber lamented the 15-19 loss of his team to England saying there were chances they could have taken during the match.

It is the first time Fiji has finished sixth this season and the first time it has lost three matches in a tournament- against Australia, New Zealand and then England.

It’s victories were against Wales, Scotland and South Africa.

“We’ve slipped obviously….we wanted to be top form later today.

“We made too many errors.

“We had chances in the game but we didn’t finish it off,” Baber said.

Fiji remains third with 84 points while USA has taken the lead in the series with 98 points.

New Zealand is in second position with 93 points.
