THE board meeting of the Fiji Trades Union Congress has been suspended.
This was confirmed by Fiji Islands Council of Trade Unions (FICTU) general secretary Attar Singh who said this was done after Police officers from the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) arrived to search FTUC’s general secretary Felix Anthony’s office.
It is understood that the search is underway.
Mr Anthony was brought in by officers from the Police CID.
Mr Singh said the board meeting would resume when Police completed their investigations at the FTUC premises.
