Forty three women graduate

FORTY three women from across the Western Division have been equipped with socio economic skills that would enable them to establish their own small micro businesses.
The women graduated with certificates awarded by the Almanah Hope Centre in Lautoka where the group had been receiving basic financial training.
While congratulating the women on reaching the end of their training, Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Mereseini Vuniwaqa said the ministry was proud to be associated with Almanah Hope Centre through financial support which has since amounted to $100,000 over the last two years.
“It is a pleasure for my Ministry to be associated with organizations as such that explore innovative methods of enhancing women’s economic participation and empowerment,” she said.
