FNU students to attend UN conference

THE Fiji National University farewelled nine female students today who will attend the Model United Nations conference in Washington DC.

The nine young women, are part of the Model United Nations Club and started their journey 221 days ago. They leave for the US on Sunday.

They will be talking on issues affecting Fiji as a country.

The Club offers a space exclusively for women to break traditional boundaries of leadership and to explore the power of their own voices to cause positive changes in the world.

Chief guest at the event was Youth Minister Laisenia Tuitubou.
