THE 2018 General Election is about restoring democracy, says Fiji Labour Party leader Mahendra Chaudhry.

Mr Chaudhry highlighted this during the launch of the party’s manifesto in Suva yesterday. He said their manifesto aimed to put people first.

“Our manifesto aims to put people first, it is a well thought out forward-looking document that endeavours to redeem the pain and suffering affecting our people, who have been misled by the policies of the FijiFirst Government,” he claimed.

He said issues such as the high cost of living and the healthcare system were top issues in the election that were covered in their manifesto.

“Now what we have done with our manifesto is that we’ve addressed this problem through a holistic and integrated approach,” he said.
