NAVIAGO, Vuda Blues, Draulu and Vitogo rugby teams won their friendly games yesterday before the start of the Tropik Lautoka Rugby Union weekly club competition next weekend.

Under the watchful eye of Lautoka head coach Ifereimi Rawaqa, all players gave their best for their respective clubs as players have the first taste of club competition this season.

Most teams are struggling with their fitness level, but for some their performance yesterday showed the amount of work they had been doing during the off-season training period.

Neighbours Naviago and Vitogo were in top form earning good wins against top teams Batiri and Red Hill respectively.

Batiri played to their best, but was not enough to earn the desired results losing to Naviago 26-12 while Vitogo defeated Red Hill 17 – 7.
