ASPEN Hospitals, through the new private-public partnership, is expected to take over operations at the Lautoka Hospital by July later this year.

Fiji’s Attorney General and Minister for Justice Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said they would also build a new wing at the hospital that would accommodate about 300 beds.

He said the hospital would also offer 24/7 open heart surgery and give people in Fiji and the region access to high-quality medical services.
