The allegations of a group operating in Fiji as organ traffickers is simply not true.

Commissioner of Police Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho highlighted this in a statement issued today.

Brig-Gen Qiliho also stressed that the safety of our children is paramount to the Force.

“I want to assure all Fijians, that if there were emerging threats to your safety and particularly the safety of our children, that we will issue public statements and keep everyone informed,” Brig-Gen Qiliho said.

“We would fail in our duty if we had information of this happening and we did not inform the public of the need to be vigilant to such illegal activities,” he said.

“This is my personal assurance and we urge social media users to be mindful of what they post as the consequences are real and far reaching.”
