2022 Coke Games: ‘Produce receipts for ticket refunds’
11 August, 2022, 8:03 pm
Ticket holders from the 2020 Coca-Cola Games have the choice of refund or replacement of tickets before Monday, August 15 but should support their claims with receipts.
According to Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics Association president Filimoni Vuli Waqa, members of the public have the choice of either refund their money or replace tickets for this year’s event provided they have the receipt from when they purchased tickets two year ago.
“We will require everyone who has tickets from the last Coca-Cola Games to come with their receipts,” said Waqa.
“When they come with the receipts, then we will be able to accommodate them.
“A receipt is a purchase of proof and anyone who purchases an item will always get a receipt.
“We are just doing this to clarify where they bought the tickets from.
“Tickets could have been bought from our office or from schools so we will need to check.
“For schools such as Queen Victoria School, they purchased tickets and were given a single receipt so all who purchased from there should have received their refunds since we had refunded the school the money.
“If you purchased it from the office, please come with your receipt so we can check with our records and you can choose the alternatives of having a refund or get the tickets for this year’s Coca-Cola Games.”
The three-day 2022 Coca-Cola Games will run from next Thursday to Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium in Laucala Bay, Suva.
