2019 Pacific Games: Fiji in third place on day three

FIJI is in third place on the medal tally of the 2019 Pacific Games in Samoa.

The Fiji contingent has seven gold, nine silver and ten bronze medals behind Tahiti who is in second place with 10 gold, 7 silver and 4 bronze medals.

New Caledonia is leading the medal tally with 15 gold, 14 silver and 10 bronze medals.

Yesterday’s three gold medals for Fiji are compliments of the badminton mixed teams, Litia Tikoisuva in the lawn bowls and also the men’s triples in the lawn bowls.

Australia came out of nowhere and has the same number of gold medals as Fiji.

They earned their medals in the weightlifting event.

Overall, there were good results all around in day three of competition.
