2019/2020 National Budget: No tax increase

ATTORNEY General and Economy Minister said Government was looking at raising around $3.49billion in tax revenue.
While delivering the 2019-2020 national budget in Parliament this hour, he said the FijiFirst Government was creating history by passing the $3billion tax threshold for the first time.
“And we will be collecting that historic figure in tax revenue without raising VAT, without increasing corporate taxes and without increasing personal income tax,” Mr Sayed-Khayium said.
