2018 General Election: SODELPA family and friends urged to remain calm

SODELPA family and friends have been urged to remain calm, steadfast and remain united behind party leader Sitiveni Rabuka.

Party president Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu in a statement issued yesterday reassured his party members to remain united behind ur Mr Rabuka who was leading their charge on the ground.

“Let us continue to pray for the party leader, his family, and his legal team. Let us be unrelenting in our prayers for our beloved nation,” Ratu Naiqama said.

“Let us continue our effort on the ground, meeting with our people, our members and our supporters, that SODELPA is ready to lead Fiji again to peace and prosperity, to restore respect, dignity and security to our beloved nation,” he said.

He thanked Mr Rabuka for his resolve to clear his name, and abide by the law of the land and the ruling of the court.

“He has been exemplary in his leadership of the party since he was appointed two years ago and I am delighted and encouraged by the progress he has made in our collective effort to prepare SODELPA for the 2018 election.”
