2018 General Election: 100 per cent voter turnout at Nasalia Village

NASALIA Village in Naitasiri had a 100 per cent voter turnout during their pre-poll exercise today.

Village headman Eveli Tokaimalo said he had been reminding the villagers about the importance of participating in this year’s election.

“I have been telling them that this is the only way that their voices will be heard,” Mr Tokaimalo said.

He said he was glad that all 88 registered voters who were expected to cast their vote today came forward.

Meanwhile, Police Constable Sakaraia Nasalia was accompanying election officials who went to conduct pre-poll for the oldest villager at Nasalia, Ratu Epeli Natokaimalo, aged 87.
